Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive Equipment Voltron and control strategy helmed by Captain America, First Avenger. The deck aims to deploy Captain America on Turn 3, cast a devastating weapon such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden or Kaldra Compleat on Turn 4, and utilize Captain America's Catch trigger to attach it for free at the beginning of combat. Once equipped, Captain America swings for massive commander damage while holding up his Throw ability ({3}, unattach) to deal direct damage equal to the equipment's mana value, functioning as flexible spot removal or player burn. The deck protects its commander using free defensive spells like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Flawless Maneuver, alongside searchable protection artifacts like Champion's Helm and Mithril Coat. It can close the table through sequential combat steps, extra combat spells, or an infinite combat combo with Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host.
