Deck overview

This deck is a Boros graveyard midrange deck commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The core game plan focuses on discarding cards, exiling cards from the graveyard, and reanimating key permanents to trigger Quintorius's passive ability, creating an army of 3/2 Spirit tokens. The deck uses looting spells such as Faithless Looting and Pursue the Past to stock the graveyard while finding engine pieces like Containment Construct, Currency Converter, and Squee, Goblin Nabob. High-impact reanimators such as Sun Titan, Serra Paragon, and Excava, the Risen Past maintain continuous board presence and token generation. The deck closes games through wide combat steps augmented by Quintorius's -4 double strike ability or decisive finishers like Moonshaker Cavalry. While resilient against standard removal due to deep recursion and cards like Guardian of Faith, the deck relies heavily on its graveyard and basic combat timing.
