Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger/storm deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier, a 0/3 Wizard that grows with each noncreature spell and can tap for {U} or {R} equal to its power. The primary game plan is to chain cheap spells, grow Vivi, and use the generated mana to fuel a critical mass of pings (each noncreature spell deals 1 damage to each opponent, doubled by Harmonic Prodigy) or to execute a Underworld Breach+Lion's Eye Diamond+Brain Freeze mill combo. Secondary wins include Niv-Mizzet, Visionary card advantage and direct damage from Virtue of Courage. The deck leverages an extremely low curve (1.96 MV) with 15+ zero-mana artifacts and rituals to accelerate into a blistering explosive turn.
