Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Simic Sea Monster tribal deck commanded by Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep. The strategy revolves around ramping in the early turns, deploying Kiora on Turn 4, and capitalizing on her trigger to cheat massive spells into play whenever a Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent is cast from hand. The list boasts an extraordinary density of high-impact sea creatures such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Spawning Kraken, Scourge of Fleets, and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, ensuring that every creature cast generates overwhelming board advantage. The deck controls the tempo of the game through asymmetric board wipes like Whelming Wave, Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep, and Cyclonic Rift, which clear opposing boards while keeping its colossal leviathans untouched. Supported by evasion enablers like Serpent of Yawning Depths and Archetype of Imagination, along with extra-turn spells, the deck rapidly translates board presence into lethal combat damage across all three opponents.
