Commander: Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons leads a Golgari combo-tokens deck that uses -1/-1 counters to generate deathtouch Snake tokens and feed sacrifice engines. The primary plan is to assemble a compact infinite drain loop - Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat - while Protean Hulk acts as a hidden commander, reanimated or podded into those three pieces. Secondary plans use Devoted Druid + Quillspike to make infinite Snakes and an arbitrarily large Quillspike, or Devoted Druid + Mikaeus + Walking Ballista for infinite mana and damage. Hapatra doubles as removal and board control; each counter she places creates the bodies that make the combo work.
