Deck overview

This is a Mardu Angels/Demons/Dragons deck helmed by Kaalia of the Vast, built around her signature ability to cheat a huge flyer into play tapped and attacking each time she connects. The primary game plan is aggressive combat: deploy Kaalia, protect her with boots and greaves, and chain attack triggers - doubled by Isshin, Two Heavens as One - to flood the board with evasive threats like Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Aurelia, the Warleader. The deck's fastest and most robust win is the Helm of the Host + Aurelia, the Warleader infinite-combat loop, which the dense tutor suite (Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Counsel, Rune-Scarred Demon) assembles reliably. Secondary lines include Terror of the Peaks ETB damage and the Gisela, the Broken Blade + Bruna, the Fading Light meld. It plays as a midrange combat deck with a strong tutor backbone and a modest draw suite.
