Deck overview

This mono-white deck turns damage into an overwhelming token army using Darien, King of Kjeldor. The strategy relies on deploying 1-mana Soul Sisters like Soul Warden and Auriok Champion early, followed by ramp to cast Darien on turn 5. Once Darien is active, self-damage lands like Ancient Tomb, City of Brass, and Tarnished Citadel generate Soldier tokens for free while the Soul Sisters instantly refund the lost life. Token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and tribal engines like Horn of Gondor rapidly multiply the board size on turn 6. The deck leverages defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Authority of the Consuls to stall opponents while drawing cards through Trouble in Pairs and Caretaker's Talent. Finally, an overrun effect such as Akroma's Will or a critical mass of buffed Soldier tokens closes out the table across turns 7 and 8.
