A Flood is Coming by jaliandre

Format: Commander

Commander: Eluge, the Shoreless Sea

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Eluge is a mono-blue control deck that uses flood counters to turn lands into Islands and discount the first instant or sorcery each turn, scaling Eluge into a large Island-count beater. Primary plan is draw-go control, accumulating card advantage via Rhystic Study, Archmage Emeritus and Talrand effects while holding counters and bounce, then closing with infinite extra turns via Archaeomancer/Ghostly Flicker/Mystic Sanctuary/High Tide/Time Warp or infinite mana via Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring into Blue Sun's Zenith/Finale. Secondary paths are token swarm from Talrand/Murmuring Mystic/Shark Typhoon and commander damage. Hullbreaker Horror acts as hidden commander as uncounterable value engine and combo outlet.
