Deck overview

Terra, Herald of Hope leads an aggressive Mardu combat reanimator deck designed to leverage combat damage triggers, graveyard recursion, and extra combat steps. The deck accelerates in the opening turns to cast Terra on Turn 3. On Turn 4, Terra's Trance ability mills cards and grants flying, enabling safe combat damage that reanimates key utility and value creatures with power 3 or less for {2} mana. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 5 by deploying multi-combat enablers like Aurelia, the Warleader and Hexplate Wallbreaker, or assembling the infinite token combo of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts. Robust low-cost removal, free spells like Deadly Rollick and Deflecting Swat, and proactive hand disruption clear paths for attackers while shielding critical win attempts.
