DeckCheck Threat Index: 38

Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu artifact engine helmed by Megatron, Tyrant. It uses Megatron's converted Vehicle side, Megatron, Destructive Force, to sacrifice large artifact creatures during combat. This deals heavy excess damage to opposing blockers and burns their controllers. In the postcombat main phase, Megatron converts back into a robot, generating colorless mana equal to total opponent life lost that turn. The deck channels this massive mana surge into overwhelming win conditions like Wake the Past, Krang, Utrom Warlord, or a game-ending Torment of Hailfire. Backed by a suite of reanimation tools like Osgir, the Reconstructor, Feldon of the Third Path, and Sneak Attack, the deck cheats high-cost threats into play and recycles them from the graveyard. While it lacks fast mana staples and hard counterspells, its dense removal suite and explosive mana generation let it seize control on Turn 5 and close the game on Turn 6.
