Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa commands a focused Mono-Black Zombie Aristocrats deck designed to overwhelm opponents through relentless token generation, lord anthem buffs, and aristocrat drain. The deck leverages efficient mana rocks to deploy Gisa on Turn 4, utilizing cheap recurring creatures like Gravecrawler as repeatable sacrifice fodder. Once active, Gisa doubles creature power into 2/2 Zombie tokens, quickly amassing a massive army buffed by lords like Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, and Undead Warchief. In addition to overwhelming combat damage, the list incorporates potent life drain and attrition engines through Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which punish opponents for attempting board wipes. While lacking library search tutors and countermagic protection, the deck exhibits strong internal synergy, consistent land drops, and an incidental infinite drain combo in Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Enduring Tenacity. It thrives by converting expendable corpses into decisive board dominance.
