Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggressive combat deck built around Sephiroth, Fallen Hero and the Modified mechanic. It floods the board during the early turns with low-cost modified permanents, including modular artifact creatures, Job Select Equipment, and +1/+1 counter enablers. Once Sephiroth enters and attacks, his Jenova Cells ability scales every modified creature into a massive base 7/5 threat. The deck converts small tokens and utility creatures into game-ending attackers, leveraging damage multipliers like Reyav, Master Smith and Chocobo Knights to close out the table. Backup plans like Thundering Raiju and Vincent, Vengeful Atoner provide direct burn and reach if combat stalls. While the deck possesses resilient recursion in Sephiroth's The Reunion ability and solid anti-destruction protection, it is susceptible to exile sweepers and lacks proactive stax to slow faster combo decks.
