Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Spellslinger Combo list commanded by Codie, Ravenous Codex, focused entirely on maximizing the prepare mechanic and Magecraft triggers. The strategy deploys cheap creature cards with embedded prepare spells, allowing Codie to duplicate every prepared instant and sorcery cast. By pairing Codie's spell-doubling and mass-prepare activation with Storm-Kiln Artist, the deck creates an engine that generates abundant Treasure mana and draws deep into the library through duplicated spells like Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall and Elite Interceptor // Rejoinder. Once assembled, the deck loops untap triggers to continuously reactivate Codie, generating infinite mana and finishing all three opponents in a single explosive turn with duplicated burn spells or a lethal Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. Backup plans leverage standalone Magecraft payoffs and Extus, Oriq Overlord recursion.
