Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Gruul combat deck designed around Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. Rather than assembling a wide token board, the 99 contains exactly five high-impact creatures: Blightsteel Colossus, Old Gnawbone, Port Razer, Raphael, Tag Team Tough, and Treasonous Ogre. The deck dedicates its remaining slots to mana acceleration, protection, and additional combat phases. By deploying rituals such as Geosurge and Irencrag Feat, it aims to cast the commander on turn 4. Because the commander possesses native haste and trample, it attacks immediately, triggering its ability to reveal cards until a creature is found and putting that creature directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. From there, hits like Blightsteel Colossus eliminate players rapidly via infect, while Old Gnawbone generates excess Treasures to chain extra-combat spells like Aggravated Assault and Relentless Assault. Free and cheap redirection spells protect the attack step from opposing disruption.
