Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu battlecruiser aggressive strategy piloted by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary objective is establishing early mana acceleration to deploy Kaalia by Turn 3 or 4, equipping her with haste or protection, and attacking to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. Threat payoffs like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of the Peaks rapidly compound combat damage, while resilient anchors such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Teferi's Protection shield the board from sweepers. Because the deck lacks compact infinite combos and fast mana staples, it relies on straightforward aerial combat steps to eliminate opponents across two to three post-onset response cycles. The strategy trades stack interaction for high board presence, demanding timely answers from opponents before overwhelming flying pressure closes out the game.
