Sav’s Sheoldred by ilujin

Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mono-black control-combo under Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. The commander turns every draw into life gained for you and life lost for opponents, and the deck forces draws through Howling Mine, Master of the Feast, Sign in Blood, and Dark Deal while discard and edicts clear the way. The primary win is the infinite life-drain loop formed by Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Starscape Cleric, Vito, or Sanguine Bond, started by any Sheoldred draw trigger. Backup paths are Gray Merchant devotion drain, Razaketh tutoring into the loop, and Ulamog as a board-crushing finisher. The deck is moderately commander-dependent: Sheoldred is the fastest engine and the easiest combo starter, but the loop can still operate with other lifegain sources if she is unavailable.
