Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counter attrition engine commanded by The Reaper, King No More. It focuses on spreading -1/-1 counters across opposing creatures to systematically shrink threats, trigger token creation through cards like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs, and steal dying creatures with the commander and Necroskitter. Mana acceleration from pieces like Ignoble Hierarch and Arcane Signet allows early deployment of key engine enchantments, while Kulrath Knight and Carnifex Demon lock down opposing combat. Card advantage is maintained through continuous draw engines such as Generous Patron and The Scorpion God. The deck eliminates opponents through wide token swarms, passive life drain via Obelisk Spider, and an infinite power combo between Devoted Druid and Quillspike. Although it lacks stack interaction and instant-speed protective shielding, its high permanent redundancy and reanimation ensure steady resilience.
