Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros go-wide aggressive strategy centered on Ajani, Nacatl Pariah // Ajani, Nacatl Avenger. The game plan deploys low-cost lifegain permanents and Cat creatures early to establish steady board presence and trigger lifegain effects. By Turn 3, the engine comes online with token generators and passive triggers. Over subsequent turns, the deck converts lifegain triggers into substantial board buffs using pieces like Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Voice of the Blessed, and Nykthos Paragon, while pinging the table with Impact Tremors and Witty Roastmaster. Lethal onset is reached around Turn 6, closing out opponents via sequential combat attacks and burn by Turn 8. The list features efficient spot removal and sweepers, but lacks stack interaction, card-selection tutors, and defensive spells to shield its wide creature board.
