Deck overview

Marneus Calgar turns every token event into a card, so this Esper build is built around a critical mass of cheap token producers and one big wide-board payoff. The primary plan is to develop tokens early, cast Marneus on or before turn five, then use his draw triggers to chain into more token spells and finish with Porcelain Gallery, Kaya, or For the Emperor!. The secondary path is commander damage from Marneus's double strike once the creature count is high. Adeline is the closest hidden lieutenant, multiplying tokens in multiplayer, while Mechanized Production is a slow backup. There is no double-faced commander to choose between; the deck is built entirely around Marneus as a token-value engine.
