New Untitled Deck by ippo

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Arcades, the Strategist is a defender-matters engine deck, and the list contains no hidden or double-faced commander. The main game plan is to play cheap walls (Wall of Omens, Wall of Blossoms, Wall of Runes) that block early and draw cards, then cast Arcades so every defender attacks with toughness and every new wall draws a card. Backup toughness effects-High Alert, Assault Formation, Huatli, the Sun's Heart, Walking Bulwark-keep the deck functioning if Arcades is unavailable. Secondary paths include Axebane Guardian plus High Alert for large mana, Wingmantle Chaplain's Bird army, and a final alpha strike with Tower Defense, Bar the Door, or Unnatural Growth. Wins come from repeated or sudden high-toughness combat damage.
