Commander: The Howling Abomination

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This RG deck is built around The Howling Abomination as a haste-y spellslinging finisher. The main plan is to put the commander on the battlefield and point a stream of cheap instant/sorceries at it (or at Zada/Mirrorwing so copies hit it), turning every targeting trigger into +2/+2 and 2 damage to each opponent. Zada, Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon act as hidden copy engines, while Storm-Kiln Artist and Season of Growth make the chain self-sustaining. Secondary paths win through a huge Chandra's Ignition, Grapeshot storm from copied spells, or commander combat damage spread by Kediss. Absorbing Man and Titania doubles all damage and can cut the needed triggers in half.
