plunder thy booty by user4635957

Format: Commander

Commander: Don Andres, the Renegade

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis theft-and-steal strategy helmed by Don Andres, the Renegade, turning every creature you control but don't own into a pumped Pirate with menace and deathtouch. The primary game plan is to accumulate a board of stolen creatures, attack with them to trigger additional theft effects (exiling opponents' cards and casting them), and generate Treasure tokens from noncreature spells you don't own. The deck wins through incremental combat damage, often accelerated by Port Razer's extra combat steps or a game-ending Insurrection. It is a value-driven, midrange tempo deck that aims to out-grind opponents by using their own cards against them.
