Deck overview

This Jund deck blends Insect and Spider tribal synergies with a forced-combat strategy led by Thantis, the Warweaver. The early game focuses on developing mana through land drops and basic ramp spells like Fertile Ground and Harrow while deploying low-cost utility creatures. On turn 6, casting Thantis turns the battlefield into an aggressive arena by forcing all creatures to attack each combat if able. While opponents are compelled to attack and expose their utility creatures, Thantis grows larger with each incoming assault. Backup anthems and token makers like The Swarmweaver and Arasta of the Endless Web reinforce the board with deathtouch blockers and aerial reach. The deck aims to close the game via persistent combat attrition across multiple turns, supported by targeted removal spells.
