Deck overview

This Mardu aggressive deck focuses on tribal Human synergies led by Jirina Kudro. The strategy curves early utility Humans into a Turn 4 commander deployment, immediately applying pressure through Jirina's +2/+0 static anthem and enter-the-battlefield token creation. The deck rapidly scales its board presence using token generators like Increasing Devotion and Call the Coppercoats, paired with secondary damage amplifiers such as Shared Animosity and General Kudro of Drannith. Opponents face steady combat pressure, backed by robust board protection in Flawless Maneuver and Jirina, Dauntless General. While the deck lacks general tutors and stack interaction, it compensates with strong creature removal, targeted graveyard hate, and asymmetric game-enders like Ruinous Ultimatum. It reliably establishes a threatening combat onset on Turn 6 and closes out the game across two subsequent combat rounds by Turn 8.
