Kaalia of the Best by ZoomZoom

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Mardu combat-cheat deck built around Kaalia of the Vast's attack trigger, putting Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The early game aims to reach four mana, protect Kaalia with Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, or Grand Abolisher, then chain flying bombs into extra combats using Aurelia, the Warleader and All-Out Assault. Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Windcrag Siege double the attack triggers, while Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Neriv, Heart of the Storm turn one large swing into a lethal strike. Master of Cruelties is a one-shot kill alongside Kaalia. The 99 also contains a reanimation fallback through Reanimate, Whip of Erebos, and Reya Dawnbringer, plus a second "hidden commander" in Kaalia, Zenith Seeker.
