Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and token swarm list commanded by Minn, Wily Illusionist. The core strategy revolves around drawing at least two cards on as many turns as possible—both your own and opponents'—to amass an army of Illusion tokens that scale in power with each other. As these Illusions die in combat or to sacrifice outlets like Skullclamp, Minn cheats high-impact permanents and lands directly onto the battlefield. The deck converts this board presence into lethal combat damage via evasion enablers such as Wonder and Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, backed by a heavy instant-speed counterspell package to protect the board. While vulnerable to heavy sweepers that exile or bounce without killing, the deck compensates with card velocity and resilient recursion engines.
