Deck overview

This Orzhov Superfriends deck showcases a thematic Sorin tribal strategy led by Sorin of House Markov. The game plan focuses on gaining life early to transform Sorin into Sorin, Ravenous Neonate, using Food generation and life-based damage to control opposing threats. A dense network of pillowfort enchantments and creatures, including Norn's Annex, Baird, Steward of Argive, and Silent Arbiter, shields your growing planeswalker roster from incoming attacks. As the midgame unfolds, the deck deploys multiple iterations of Sorin to generate Vampire tokens, draw cards, and drain opponents. High-impact spells such as Blood Tribute, Sorin Markov, and Repay in Kind create massive life swings that bring opposing life totals into lethal range. While the deck lacks compact infinite combos and relies on prolonged combat and burn cycles to finish the game, its consistent mana curve, resilient planeswalker suite, and strong life buffer allow it to outlast aggressive tables and control the board.
