Commander: Feroz, Ulgrotha's Warden

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Bant deck is a stax and proliferate control deck built around Feroz, Ulgrotha's Warden. It locks the board with Rule of Law effects (Archon of Emeria, Eidolon of Rhetoric, Rule of Law, Arcane Laboratory), tax effects (Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Thorn of Amethyst, Ghostly Prison, Propaganda) and untap denial (Winter Orb, Hokori, Dust Drinker, Stoic Angel). Feroz provides card advantage, makes 1/1 Bird tokens, and cheats permanents with mana value 4 or less into play. Proliferate engines then grow loyalty, +1/+1 counters, and poison. It wins slowly through Bird combat, poison from Bloated Contaminator, or a hard lock with Feroz's Ban token. Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus acts as the hidden commander that doubles every proliferate.
