Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger tempo strategy led by Ty Lee, Chi Blocker. It controls the pace of the game by tapping down key opposing attackers and locking out enemy commanders while building an evasive army of flying tokens. By chaining cheap instants, cantrips, and protection spells, token generators such as Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, Murmuring Mystic, and Stormchaser's Talent create a wide board. Card advantage engines like Archmage Emeritus and Valeria Richards, Precocious maintain resource velocity to keep interaction held up at all times. When ready to close the game, the deck uses mass tap effects such as Ultimecia, Temporal Threat and Blustersquall, or team pumps from Valley Floodcaller, to swing past defenses. Supported by efficient 1-mana hexproof spells and flexible countermagic, the deck pressures life totals across two decisive combat steps while defending its board from sweepers.
