Deck overview

Hidetsugu and Kairi commands a Dimir reanimator and spell-slinging deck that cheats massive spells into play while draining opponents. The primary strategy focuses on resolving the commander, using its enter-the-battlefield trigger to manipulate the top of the library with devastating high-mana cards like Time Stretch, Breach the Multiverse, or Aminatou's Augury, and sacrificing it to cast them for free while dealing burn damage. Secondary paths include reanimation loops with Scholar of the Ages, Saw in Half, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or Hullbreaker Horror control locks. The commander operates as both the deck's primary card selector and its explosive mana-cheat engine.
