Format: Commander

Commander: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord leads a self-mill strategy that turns the graveyard into both fuel and reach. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with huge creatures, then reanimate or cast a graveyard-scaled beater such as Lord of Extinction, Lhurgoyf, or Mortivore and sacrifice it to Jarad, draining the entire table. Syr Konrad and Grist offer alternate drain/mill routes, while Living Death, Breach the Multiverse, and Reanimate provide mass or cheap reanimation. Meren acts as a hidden commander who continuously returns sacrificed creatures. The deck is heavily graveyard-dependent, but its recursion and mill redundancy make it able to rebuild after disruption.
