Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dinosaur tribal strategy led by partner commanders Blue, Loyal Raptor and Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer. The game plan revolves around using Owen to place keyword counters such as haste, trample, and menace onto Blue. Blue's static ability then shares those counter types with every subsequent Dinosaur entering the battlefield. Backed by draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Temur Ascendancy, the deck drops massive threats ahead of curve that attack immediately. High-impact Dinosaurs like Quartzwood Crasher, Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, and Etali, Primal Storm rapidly overwhelm opposing life totals with trample damage. While the deck relies heavily on creature combat and remains open to well-timed sweepers, its strong mana ramp and built-in commander redundancy allow it to rebuild quickly and close games by Turn 7.
