Red Death, Shipwrecker by Meriden

Format: Commander

Commander: Red Death, Shipwrecker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a goad-and-politics deck that wins by forcing opponents to attack each other while running incremental draw-ping engines. The commander, Red Death, Shipwrecker, is the most efficient repeatable goad engine, turning every activation into a goaded creature, a card draw for an opponent, and one red mana. Untappers and copy effects multiply that ability. Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos acts as a hidden commander, being passed around the table while growing into a must-answer attacker. The deck can close with Insurrection on a developed goaded board or with an Isochron Scepter / Dramatic Reversal loop that lets Red Death deck opponents through infinite activations.
