Spreading The Disease by Sebmarti78

Format: Commander

Commander: Xavier Sal, Infested Captain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck uses Xavier Sal, Infested Captain to generate continuous value by converting counters into creature tokens and sacrificing expendable creatures to proliferate. The early game establishes spore-producing Fungi, mana rocks, and Sagas. Xavier Sal accelerates these engines by either populating powerful creature tokens or proliferating lore, spore, and +1/+1 counters across your board. The primary path to victory is creating an overwhelming army of Saprolings or multiplied creature tokens using engines like Mycoloth, Tendershoot Dryad, or Gruff Triplets, then winning via combat damage or Slimefoot drain. An alternate infinite combo exists through Intruder Alarm untapping Xavier Sal repeatedly alongside token production.
