This deck is a high-power Esper spellslinger control build piloted by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. It uses Y'shtola's passive triggers to turn every mid-sized noncreature spell into a 6-point life differential (2 damage to each opponent, 2 life gained) while effortlessly triggering her own end-step draw. By attaching Curiosity or Ophidian Eye to Y'shtola, each 3+ CMC noncreature spell draws three cards, providing explosive fuel for cheap countermagic and removal. The deck controls the game with efficient interaction, pillowfort cards like Ghostly Prison, and stax pieces like Grand Abolisher and Teferi, Time Raveler. The primary win condition is the deterministic two-card combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, which Y'shtola can effortlessly trigger with any qualifying noncreature cast.
