Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord is a Grixis control/amass engine that converts opponents' spells into a growing Orc Army while reanimating premium threats. The main plan is to deploy Sauron early, use instant-speed interaction to trigger amass, attack with the Army to make the Ring tempt you, then discard your hand to draw four. Saruman, the White Hand is the hidden commander: it turns every noncreature spell into amass and is the payoff that makes the Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring loop a real kill. Reanimated Archons, Wraiths, and Nazgul provide a beatdown fallback. The deck is resilient, interactive, and capable of either a midrange grind or a compact infinite-mana finish.
