Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is an elf-swarm deck that threatens to win through both wide combat and, more narrowly, combo-style mana abuse. The primary plan is to play cheap elves and token makers, then finish with Ezuri's overrun. Thranduil himself is not a fast beater: he draws an entire corpse of legendary Elves and inherits every activated ability of dead Elves, so the deck runs self-mill and sacrifice fuel to make him a reusable mana dork and pump station. A secondary path uses Lathril's life-drain activation or a copy of the Sword of the Paruns with a large elf mana engine to generate arbitrary mana and push through an attack. There is no hidden commander. Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally is a supporting landfall lord, not another commander.
