Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Izzet aggro-combo build led by Muddle, the Ever-Changing. The strategy centers on deploying heavy nonlegendary payoff creatures and casting cheap one-mana instants or sorceries to turn Muddle into a copy with myriad. When Muddle attacks, it produces temporary token copies aimed at each other opponent. Copying creatures like Terror of the Peaks results in explosive damage triggers that melt life totals before blockers are even declared, while copying Bloodthirster grants up to three consecutive combat phases in a single turn. The deck supports this game plan with a rich suite of cheap cantrips for card velocity, efficient counterspells and redirects for protection, and utility spells that grant evasion or hexproof. While vulnerable to well-timed removal on its setup turn, the deck delivers massive, sudden damage spikes that close out multiplayer games rapidly.
