Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Food and artifact burn deck commanded by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. Ragost turns all artifacts into Foods and converts them into direct burn against each opponent for {1} and a tap, untapping at the beginning of each end step if life was gained that turn. The deck supports this engine with cheap cantripping artifacts, token doublers like Academy Manufactor, and lifegain triggers from Soul Warden and Authority of the Consuls. It achieves usable assembly on Turn 4 and scales into a must-answer damage clock by Turn 6 using damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and board clearers like Chandra's Incinerator. It shields its 2/2 commander with a dense package of one-mana protection instants like Blacksmith's Skill and Surge of Salvation. The deck finishes games around Turn 8 through recurring table-wide burn.
