Deck overview

This is an Abzan toughness-matters deck helmed by Felothar the Steadfast, built around a wall of high-toughness creatures that assign combat damage equal to their toughness and attack despite defender. Felothar doubles as a massive draw engine, sacrificing a big-toughness creature to draw cards equal to its toughness while discarding only its (usually tiny) power. The primary win is Betor, Kin to All's end-step trigger - with 40+ total toughness, each opponent loses half their life, doubled into a kill by Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Backup lines include big-toughness combat beats (Indomitable Ancients, The Walls of Ba Sing Se), Tree of Perdition life exchange, and a South Wind Avatar life-gain drain. The deck is a midrange value pile that grinds card advantage through walls, draw engines, and Felothar's sac ability before closing with the Betor combo or a lethal swing.
