Commander: Lord of the Nazgûl

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a tempo/aristocrats-style spellslinger deck built almost entirely around Lord of the Nazgul. The primary plan is to cast a high volume of cheap instants and sorceries, converting each one into a 3/3 menace Wraith; once nine Wraiths exist, the commander turns the whole team into 9/9s for the turn and combat damage closes out the game. Nazgul, Call of the Ring, and Ringsight provide Ring-tempt triggers that grow all Wraiths and dig deeper. Secondary paths include Grima, Saruman's Footman and River Song's Diary to cast additional spells for free, plus Canoptek Wraith as an unblockable Wraith. Ojer Pakpatiq's rebound supports repeated spell-casting. There is no dedicated hidden commander; the deck's identity is tied to Lord of the Nazgul's threshold payoff.
