Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man to cheat massive legendary spells into play for just {G}{W}{U} via the web-slinging mechanic. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient one-drop mana creatures that double as bounce fodder for the web-slinging cost. Once transformed on Turn 3, the commander cheats high-cost legendary bombs like Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Myojin of Seeing Winds, and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur into play on Turn 4. These threats draw massive batches of cards, strip opposing resources, and establish overwhelming board presence. Board protection from Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Spectacular Spider-Man shields the army against sweepers, while Dragonlord Dromoka shuts down opposing interaction on your turn. Trample and haste from Surrak and Goreclaw or creature evasion from Ultimecia, Temporal Threat close the game through overwhelming combat damage across Turns 5 and 6.
