Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos midrange and combat attrition deck built around Deadpool, Trading Card. Deadpool's unique ability allows him to swap his text box with any creature on the battlefield upon entering. This allows you to steal an opponent's most powerful abilities while giving them Deadpool's upkeep life loss and sacrifice drawback. The rest of the deck amplifies this game plan using temporary token duplication, re-trigger effects, and forced combat. Cards like Kardur, Doomscourge and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos force opponents to attack one another, whittling down life totals while protecting your board. Meanwhile, token engines like Jaxis, the Troublemaker, Delina, Wild Mage, Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, and The Master, Multiplied clone high-impact creatures for heavy combat damage and enters triggers. Support pieces such as Impact Tremors, Mirkwood Bats, and Warstorm Surge convert token creation into direct table-wide burn. The deck protects its pieces using low-cost resurrection instants and closes out games around Turn 8 through accumulated combat damage and life drain.
