Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet competitive combo-storm engine commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or soulbonding it with Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals one damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, a single damage-draw aura causes every noncreature spell to draw three cards. This immediately triggers a self-sustaining storm loop of cheap cantrips, zero-cost artifacts, and rituals. As Vivi accumulates +1/+1 counters, its activated ability taps for massive amounts of mana to keep the turn going. The loop kills the entire table on Turn 3 via direct trigger damage, storm payoffs like Grapeshot, or an Underworld Breach recursion loop. The deck is shielded by a dense suite of free and one-mana counterspells such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, allowing it to protect its win attempt and interact with fast opponents without losing mana velocity.
