Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white go-wide token and lifegain synergy strategy commanded by Darien, King of Kjeldor. The primary game plan turns the drawback of taking damage into an explosive asset: whenever you take damage, Darien creates that many 1/1 white Soldier creature tokens. By establishing soul sisters like Soul's Attendant, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, and Anointer Priest before deploying Darien, every point of damage taken is immediately recouped in life total while creating an army. Self-damage artifacts like Ankh of Mishra, Nomad Stadium, and Blasting Station trigger token generation on demand. The deck scales this swarm with potent anthems, token doublers like Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and finishers such as Cathars' Crusade and Eldrazi Monument. Robust defensive cards like Clever Concealment and Bastion Protector keep key pieces intact to overwhelm opponents through massive combat swings.
