Deck overview

This Commander deck is a five-color battlecruiser list helmed by The Ur-Dragon, designed to deploy massive flying Dragons and overwhelm the table through combat damage. The game plan leans on the commander's eminence ability to discount tribe members, bridging the gap toward mid-game powerhouses like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, and Tiamat. Without relying on infinite combos or fast mana, the deck ramps on early turns, establishes haste or token doubling, and swings for heavy damage across consecutive combat phases. While highly potent once established in the air, the deck faces tempo friction from numerous tapped lands, a high mana curve, and a relatively thin reactive interaction suite. It thrives best in casual and mid-power tables where it has time to develop its mana and assemble overwhelming airborne boards.
