Deck overview

This Rakdos spellslinger deck leverages Kuja, Genome Sorcerer to turn cheap noncreature spells into lethal table-wide burn. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and deploying low-cost Wizard creatures and token producers. As the Wizard count reaches four, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage dealt to players and permanents. From this position, chaining low-cost cantrips, rituals, and burn spells rapidly drains all three opponents simultaneously. Redundant pingers like Coruscation Mage, Black Waltz No. 3, and Fiery Inscription reinforce the burn clock, while damage amplifiers like Harmonic Prodigy, Artist's Talent, and City on Fire scale spell triggers into game-ending bursts. While the deck boasts high redundancy and explosive velocity via Underworld Breach and Bolas's Citadel, its reliance on small creature tokens makes it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and heavy creature removal.
