Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Spellslinger Burn strategy built around 27 copies of Dragon's Approach and led by Riku of Two Reflections. The primary win condition revolves around establishing Thrumming Stone or Locket of Yesterdays to ripple or reduce the cost of Dragon's Approach, casting dozens of copies in a single turn to burn out all three opponents simultaneously. Alternatively, resolving five copies of Dragon's Approach allows the deck to search for massive Dragon engines such as Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, which draws nine cards per Approach cast, or Niv-Mizzet, Parun for continuous pings and draw triggers. Riku of Two Reflections provides extra copies of spells and utility creatures when mana permits. While the deck possesses explosive same-turn burst potential and massive functional redundancy with its burn spells, it runs very little reactive interaction or protection, making it vulnerable to early aggressive pressure and well-timed artifact removal.
