Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger combo strategy led by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a scaling mana ritual and a table-wide burn engine whenever you cast noncreature spells. The deck's primary win line attaches a damage-triggered card draw effect—such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout—directly to Vivi. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent on every noncreature cast, each 1-mana cantrip draws three fresh cards. This card velocity feeds directly into mana rituals like Desperate Ritual and Jeska's Will, while Vivi's activated ability adds mana equal to its accumulated power. The deck rapidly chains low-cost instants and sorceries, augmented by damage amplifiers like Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph and Harmonic Prodigy, to burn all three opponents from 40 life in a single explosive turn. Robust low-mana counterspells, redirection spells, and backup win lines through Niv-Mizzet, Parun provide strong protection and resilience against opposing disruption.
