Teval by LestatNix

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale is a Sultai self-mill and land-recursion engine. The primary plan is to attack with Teval to fill the graveyard, return lands to the battlefield, and generate Zombie Druid tokens, then deploy Avenger of Zendikar and Craterhoof Behemoth to overrun the table. Secondary paths include Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord drain with a large board, Muldrotha-based recursion, and Living Death mass reanimation. The commander is the most efficient engine, but the deck also runs enough self-mill and reanimation to function if Teval is kept off the board. Muldrotha, the Gravetide acts as a hidden commander in the 99, providing nearly identical repeatable value.
